At the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2024 Koji Ninomiya, world renowned Japanese garden designer, and Semken Landscaping present Seisei-Tei II.

Seisei-Tei II depicts the natural countryside and its presence of human life. In the world today there is a sense of friction with our natural world and the way we are living. The garden will showcase a natural Japanese style overlapping with some English garden features. The garden’s intention is to create a sense of belonging in nature and to remind the visitor that we are still living in a natural world, not the world we have created.

Whilst Seisei-Tei II will have traditional Japanese features all plants and materials are local materials available in Victoria, so visitors would be able to replicate this style of garden.

The cascade stream from top down to the middle will create beautiful comfortable sounds. After the last cascade falls the water disappears and changes to dry stream with white sand creating a calming place in nature.
